Default 2" lift kit for an '05 grizzly

i was thinking of going to a 27" wheel kit w/ mudzillas,,,and a 2" lift kit

will i have to change the axles, and CVC joints,or will i be able to keep the stock ones?

Why the lift kit ? Are you talking body lift? I dont think that will help your actual ground clearance. If it is because of the 27' ers dont waste the money on the lift kit. Just trim the rear fenders and it will be perfect , plus the extra hieght of the kit will make it more tippy . Check out my pics I also have 27' ers on . My axles and CV s are all original. Check out photo # 6

i dont want to kut the fenders

and i need the clearance to get through this mud hole that has swollowed every bike that has attempted it

i did a little more research today and pretty much answered my own question,,,i do need to change the rear axles, the stock axles wont hold up,,,i need to go to the Gorrilla axles

i figure i will gain atleast 4 - 5 inchs between the wheel kit and the lift kit

if i make it i have a bet with a buddy, and bragging rights alone will be worth all the gold in Fort Knox

lol,,,yea

i got the high lifter lift kit, should be in early next week,,,,Friday im ordering the wheel kit,,,and it might be a week or two before i can scrape enough money up for the Gorrila rear axles

i know about the stinky mud, lol,,,when i tried to go through it i was buried DEEP,,,but i honostly think my treads are packing (stock Dunlops),and the frame high centers just enough to hold back any momentum, and boom your a dead duck

im also gonna do a little to gain some HP too,K&N pro air setup, and exaust ( not sure which yet),and of course rejet

i think the Mudzillas will self clean pretty good,,,i really think it will do it
