I was not comparing the S2000's F20C to any other motor. (regarding your +400cc's ect)
I was pointing out the F20c's high HP output for its small size, which has a LOT to do with the fact that it is a DOHC motor.

And yes. The 240HP is at the flywheel, naturally.

The labeling of SOHC or DOHC always pertains to the number of cams PER HEAD ASSEMBLY.....and not how many the engine has total.

 

my dad's SHO is a DOHC, but it has 4 cams total, so it can be called a Quad Cam. It is a DOHC 4-Valve per cylinder V8... nice engine [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

im sorry i dont look into **** can cars, but by good music do u mean its got some grunt? i dunno about you but ill take my 350SBC over a 3.4L V8

 

the S.H.O is a 3.4L 4-Valve DOHC V8. oh yes it has nice power. My dad's has High-Flow Cats (2) , 3ed cat eliminater, Uderdrive Pully set, Cat-back exhaust w/ Flowmaster Super 40 series mufflers (2), K&N cold air intake, ECU chip. My dads friend has a 88' Ferrari Testorosta, and im not even lieing, we were right at his bumper up to 100mph . .. The engine was made for ford by Yamaha, thats right, yamaha!!! the engine is so uniqe in the way it sounds, its like a mix between a mustangs V8, with a Ferrari V8. the engine shifts at 7,500 RPM to, its a screemer!

 

The SHO is not a **** can car... Ignorance at its finest.


And yes, 'music' is obviously referring to the sound of the engine.

 

sorry i didnt know about a motor built by yamaha thats actually in a production car aka rare as hell, and since its a 3.4L v8 i doubt it has much potential for horsepower, but it seems pretty sweet...ill have to look more into it

and sorry ive never heard of any idiot saying 'the music' of a car, also why would u put your cars into your signature on an atv site? especially a focus...
