Went to the dealership today, saw her, and took pics. Oh yeah, for all you doubters out there I even took a pic of my sales slip and owners manual. Said goodbye and traded in my KFX700, financed the rest and signed on the line. She's mine. According to my dealer as far as he knows, I am the first legal owner of a shiny white and silver Raptor 700. I just have to wait for the fix to come in late next week. I wasn't able to ride it though, because the defect is in the fuel pump. I found out from the dealer that 18 units where shipped before they caught the problem and stopped the rest. Most of them are on the west coast. A few made it out east. The fuel pump fixes are being shipped to all the Yamaha warehouses next week, and after they are installed, on their way to you. I am a very happy man.

 

Congrats man! Tell us How she runs when you get her! Good to hear they kept the fuel pump problem isolated... hopefully nothing else is recalled. once again, congrats you are on lucky bastard. lol
