if you have a quad, don't sell to get dirt sickle, get both!
for me it's like comparing a blonde to brunette - they both have advantages and disadvantages.
keep in mind, the crazier they are, the better in...well, the more fun they are! wait...that's a different topic.

i aggree they both have their po's,and con's

we have a freind that that has a dirt bike that rides with us from time to time, and we have to choose trails that we dont have to cross streams or creeks with us,also there is one intire set of trails we have to cross railroad tracks, thats kinda drag because we have to hurry up and get him over, where our quads we just bump on over

but while we're on the trails he definatly has the advantage for choice of path in avoiding deep ruts

if ur ridin a dirtbike wit a bunch of buddys that onyl have ridden atvs then stay in front of them. everytime they stop its always on a hill so its a biotch to get goin again. specially wit my yz. i would say a dirtbike is more fun to ride overall, but its really ur opinion. i feel i can jump a bike easier than a quad, i can also corner better if its not totally flat. when it starts to get muddy and snowy, it takes some know how to muscle a bike around. a quad u can jus sit on and let er rip. a bike invloves a little more finess and alot of body language to ride fast.

Well i bought a brand new kx250 dirtbike 3 weeks ago and had it a week and sold it for my kfx.I absouloutly hated that dirtbike,i layed it over on its side about 10 times in one day,out on the trails.(of course it really isn't a trail bike). But me and two wheels just didn't get along,so i'm staying on all fours.IMO stick to atv's,but if you already have an atv, then keep it and get a dirtbike, because you may not like the dirtbike, then again you might love it and if you realize you like bikes better then you can sell your quad.
