Default Father Help

Recently as some of you know ive been checking out fourwheelers. From what ive read the warrior isnt very sporty. I want something sporty for trails that will last me for a while.I like the Z400 but my dad thinks its a little much for me.Everything ive read about it makes it sound perfect for me.He thinks i need to stick with 300-350.Ive ridden his 03 trail blazer 400 and he draged a kawisaki kfk700 and it was a very close race.the kfx won but my dads trailblazer's front tires were about even with the kfx's rear tires.Anyone got any suggestions about what i can say to him?

Hmm, sometimes it is not what you say, but rather what you do. You need to show him that you are mature enough and responible enough to take on a bigger machine. Actions speak louder then words.

What is wrong with you Lakota? Maybe while you are proving yourself worthy of a 400, you should be happy with what you have. It may not always seem this way to you, but parents often have a much better insight into your abilities than you would care to know.

im not trying to be mean,,,but,,,,if he's paying for it,he pretty much has the say of what your gonna end up with

and if a 350 warrior is an upgrade, you might count your blessings

and if you want a differant bike, start saving your money, and you will have the say of what you ride

Well i guess it sounded differnt than i ment it. I didnt mean for me to sound like some rich spoiled kid. We're looking around and i like the 400's but he thinks thats a too big of a step for me.He might be right but they only go as fast as you let them right? Maybe i am just a little to throttle happy.Well thx for your comments everyone.

Young grasshopper...

...Remember, it's not the arrow...but the Indian!

Enjoy that your dad is willing to get you an ATV...I was not as fortunate growing-up that my Mom didn't have the resources to even buy my first bicycle. I had to cut yards and collect aluminum cans to get my first bicycle.

Just because an ATV is more powerful, doesn't necessarily mean it's best for you.

...yeah, i bought my banshee in parts with the money i made at basic training and ait. My kid brother is 14, and he fits a 400ex like a glove, not only that, but when his abilities grow, he can upgrade and make it faster.
