Default can you believe its over?

Man, i just cant believe that they are just canceling the banshee now after the great strides it has taken in the last 25 years. They should keep it in production as long as they can. They should have done that for the zilla too.All of these screaming badasses getting sucked down the drain of business, it just sickens me to think that, I am not going to be able to grow up and go out to my closest dealer and pick up my own banshee. Also, not being able to ride a zilla more than once in a lifetime.I cant even look into the future anymore to see what is going to happen to the banshee in 10 years.I am afraid that there will be no more left and that people will just trash them.I just dont want a legend to be gone so quick.I may never be able to say that I owned a banshee and other quads.I could get a banshee if I sold my raptor, but i just cant sell somthing I have wanted my whole life and got it for my b-day.Also, i love my raptor,i wouldnt be able to sell it because i personaly think it is the best bike out there with the z400 and the banshee right beside it.I just want to be able to visit that little world that you enter every day from the banshee. You get your own little feelings about quads when you ride them and the banshee is the most thrilling indeed.I just cant imagine what will become of them in 10 years when i go to buy one used.

ok, ummm... first off, WTF u talkin about 25 years... its been around from 1987 to now... (that would be 18 years)... but to get past that, havent you known that the shee was gonna be leaving us? Comparing the zilla to a shee is like comparing a civic to a Ferarri Enzo in the amount produced, there are tens of thousands of shee's in the world, there were only a couple thousand zillas around... but as far as buying them used in 10 years, ya they will be a bit harder to find... but then again, if you get one from ten years ago its not that hard, infact my friend just got a 89 shee for $2500 with a fresh motor... so, Im sayin, with the amount of parts available, and parts that will be available, you can get a shee for many many years to come... the parts for them are still good to make, and the demand for parts is even greater than the volume of shee's that are out there... I figure, even if you cant buy a new shee, buy a older one (or just the frame) and build it up how ever you want it... you can get every part that you could want, to upgrade or build... heck cant ya even buy new frames from aftermarket dealers???

The Banshee may not have been around for 25 years, but 2006 will be 25 years from when I started racing, on a two stroke.

I have always wanted to build a hillshooter for the dunes. And I have always wanted to own just one more two stroke desert race bike before they go the way of the Dodo. It's looking like the time has come to either do it, or forget it, so later today I'm going to pick up that red and white Banshee that has been sitting on the dealers showroom floor for the last few weeks. Then later this year I'll order a 2006 Honda CR500 from Service Honda. They're both classics, and I don't want to let them just die away without having one to keep.

Too many years spent racing two strokes will lead to addiction, you have fair warning, LOL.

LOVE that top end two stroke power . Little red Banshee is sitting in the garage right now. Just got back from a cruise around the block to wake up the neighbors, and even with a stock Banshee that I never got over half throttle (because of engine break-in) I can already tell I am going to be one happy Banshee owner. This thing revs to the stratosphere, LOL.
