We rode threw the woods trails and at times it couldn't even stay ujp with me and i have to slow down for alot of turns b/c my bike is wider. I drag raced him to in the sand and i beat him 5 out of 6 times i could have had him the 6th time but i shift to late. I wounder if there a better quad for dune running

A Stock Raptor 700R (Probably) I say probably because there are not a lot of after market options out for it yet.
Now you sounded like you were bragging. Not that it is a bad thing but think how PISSED Off you would be if you had lost after spending more money in after market parts and mods then a 700R's MSRP. Just something to think about before you get your Brag on. Not trying to take anything away from your skills because you may have beat him on a Honda 250ex. Riders do not always have the skills to push a machine to it's limits. Always remember there is no replacement for displacement.

Thanks for the input on the skid plates guys. I think i'm going to go for the Armadillo's. They seem well built, and they are priced good. Yeah I had to trade in the KFX700 for the Rappy. Loved my V, but it was just a little too heavy for tight trail riding. The blue Trailblazer is my wifes. Added a Pheonix to the family now, for my stepdaughter. I was a little worried about getting it, but it's turned out to be a great begginer quad. They really enjoy them.

GreenBeast Is that a Durango. Nice & Clean. Great installation job on the Stereo. You must have been a stereo installer at one time or another to have installed it yourself. I saw a trophy in the back ground so I am guessing you show it. Good job. Thanks for sharing. Here is a link to my Baby: FUNKY55.

GreenBeast,
How did the ECU handle the sparky and lid removal, do you feel it compensated the fuel or is alittle lean? I bought a Phoenix Sparky and am replacing the foam drop in with a K&N with adapter, no lid, can't afford the Dobeck or PC as of yet, do you think the ECU will handle that change with no problem?

Hap, make sure you unhook the Batt. for about 10 mins. then fire it up, it should adjust some like it would for a higher alltitude only it will
do it right away instead of taking a while . Then just watch for the tale tale signs of it being to lean. As you know every engine and fuel system is a little bit different. In my case mine was a little lean before the power commander. Yours on the other hand might be fine, you'll just have to try it and see.
