Default A little carb help please

I hope i can explain my problem in enough detail so here goes.About two weeks ago while i was racing up a dune i noticed on my way down the hill that my raptor was running at a very high idle as if the choke was on but it was off and it would not idle down. When i got home i noticed that on the left carb(as you sit on the quad)that a small plastic housing that holds the choke cable in line where it screws into the carb had partially snapped off.I need to get this fixed ASAP so my question is can i bypass the choke as my raptor will start in the summertime without it anyway and if i can what all is involved. From what i can see there is a brass needle that runs between the two carbs that opens for choke and closes for normal running so can i just insert the needle with the spring and what remains of the housing and will that bypass my choke?I apologize for my inadequate description of the parts involved but anyone who is more familiar with the raptor carb than i am will probably know what i mean.Thanks.

You want it fixed and it is not that epensive to replace. If you want to plug it up you better hope you use a soft plastic screw in cap that blocks off anything that could get into that carb. Remember those threads on that carb are very soft and strip out very easily.
