You need to watch more than one race. I won't say that either will always be faster, but it's certainly a better race than what you're claiming.

 

well. lets see. I weigh 145 pounds and im 5'6. My uncle has a ds650, he is 6'4 260 pounds. I beat him all the way around. My cousin gets on it at his 140 pounds, I beat him acceleration, midrange, top speed he was BARELY getting ahead, He actually thought it was tied top speed but i think he had me by a tad. the v-force i know absolutely nothing about except ive never seen a fast one as long as i lived. Im not saying their not fast. Just saying never seen a fast one.

 

stock 4 stock the v-force/rappy will pull away from the DS off the line... The DS has a strong mid and the v-force drops off @ mid. Its a very close race at the end between the rappy/ds

 

I really dont find the ds to be anything special when it is going up against a raptor with slight mods. The raptor is so plugged up that stock a z400 will somewhat hang with it. I dont think i would find a 700r to be too much of a challenge either since i beat the 450 by a reasonable amount of lengths. And i dont think the ds is going to be beating the 700, it may, i could be wrong, but since the 450 beats the 700, and beat the 450, i dont think i will have a problem with the ds any time soon. Unless i face like..oneflycowboys or something =P.

 

im not saying anyone is wrong b/c what you see is what you see..so having said that ive seen some very impressive raptors and YFZs destroy DS650s. there are several DS in our state and ive seen them out racing and have only seen a couple of them WIN the race but not win consistently...not to say they cant.

but when you have a raptor that lets everyone start the race before he does and then he rockets past them doing a wheelie for the last half of the drag even across the finish line- that's kinda impressive as he LEFT everyone sitting there.

 

The ds and raptor depend on rider id say. V force doesn't hang for long

 

well.. it might be.. but see the shorter the race the closer it is.. the longer the run the more the bomabardier pulls.. i personally believe the ds650 is the fastest top end sport bike out stock.. i have a predator and it runs pretty well on top end too.. but i still cant seem to beat those ds650's..

 

all you have to do to make a preddy beat a ds all the way around is gear it up a lil higher. Ive seen it done stock and stock just the preddy geared a bit up with the front tooth i think and it was very very close acceleration but then it would pull by top speed 2-3 mph

 

yeah those predator rocks! i use to have one(gearred higher on the front by +1) and holly f*ck, i was doing 80.7mph on the gps....very impresseif for a 500cc..
