Glad to hear they are finally arriving. I bought the first Raptor 660 in Oklahoma back in 2001 and loved it, right up until I sold it. It was a tough call, but for the dunes, my Banshee was too strong and we rode exclusively in the sand. I later moved to Texas and decided to get a woods/trail machine. I decided to go with the V Force 700. It did well on the dunes and at the river, but it was just too big for the woods. When I moved to North Carolina 2 years ago, the V Force came with me and the trails here are just too narrow for that big of a machine. I've found that the Vinson is more fun in the woods than the V, so the V Force was sold not long ago.
Now that the Raptor 700 is out, I'm tempted to go with it, but would it be too much machine to handle in the woods? Since you have a V Force, I assume you could provide an accurate comparison.
I've even taken interest in the new Wolverine 450. It is narrower than the Raptor, smaller and lighter than the Vinson, and has a more sporty appeal than the bigger utes.
I think I need 2 Raptor 700s. One for NC and one to leave in OK for the dunes at Little Sahara...

well with the racing part everyone is going to be al ittle biased eveyrone has the fastest quad out there etc... once reviews come out because you know there will be them 700r vs. yfz450 is a standard drag yfz will pervail 04-06 models they wouldnt make a cheaper quad be faster and outperform their most expensive quad... however mod them up and that will be a show to watch... i'm interested in seeing how the YFI does when putting the gas hard and fast to it... consistantly

HEY. Greenbeast seems like we got our bikes the same day. You summed it up perfect. Just one thing, dont forget when the parking brake is left on cause that ant good it gets really hot lol. Fortatly though i didnt leave it on long enough fro any damage to occur but well im am idiot. I will give you all my fool thoughts when i get to ride it a little more. I only rid it about an hour or so cause i had no time. Once again congrates on ur bike. I no what ur feeling and its a really good feeling.
