Default Little Rust on the Durablue

My raptor has been sittin in the shop rotting while i get money to fix it and i was just noticing that my axle x-33 is starting to rust a little bit . Well no problem i get the steel wool and go to work and it gets alot of it but theres still a little the wool wont get. What the crap? why is it already going to rust???

I bet all my money that its going to crack. If i were you id replace it and get the RPM Dominator axle...Its bigger and has a lifetime warrenty. The Durablue that i had snapped in 2 when it didn't show rust at all. The wors part is that i was jumping over a pond and i landed, my rear tire went right into my back.

Almost killed myself.. Trust me if i were you id sell that thing as quick as you can!!!!

Sounds like you are short of money and I have heard good things about the x-33 axle. A little surface rust is not going to affect the strength of the axle. While its sitting there, you can put a little oil on the axle surface to inhibit rust. For a more permanent fix, you can get it chromed or powder coated. I wouldn't worry about it.
