u know i never really got alond with this guy before, but i'll defwend him now. from what ive read, those 400 sport/scrambler/trail blazer (dumb polaris) can be pretty fast. 60 hp isnt a stretch for those motors. a 400 2 stroke should be able to run with or take out a 660 4 stroke. they are terribly slow stock though, plyus the weight dosent help either, but they can be made to smoke most raptors

 

I for one hate polaris cept the pred but the scramblers are fast as *** i have to give it to em with a pipe and few other cheap mods id figure the 400 would kill the 660 ive ridden the 400 and they are no joke i think there ugly az he!l but they move lol

 

i heard cr125s suck and have no bottom end or midrange power. but thats what i heard. in a drag u will prolly get beat but in a long race you will win. 125s prolly top out at or around 70ish.

i have seen an 85 (bored to a 103 and a few other minor mods) dust a raptor. the 85 runs just about as fast as a rappy toped out too....scary. the 125 should be able to beat the raptor but that all depends on the riders on each machine. i think that was a big factor in the 660 85 race but still that little thing runs right with the raptor hitting the revlimiter. and also i am pretty sure the 125 is a 6 speed where as the rappy is only 5.

 

Hey the turtle im not trying to start crap and all that but i got a raptor and i ride with theese 2 dood 1 on kx85 and other on yz85 and they dont come close to me, ya they are quick *** hell when they take off but they are nuthin compared to my raptor, but a 125 would easily smoke a "stock raptor' but 85 dont have a chance

 

my buddy has a kx80 with mods, we raced and i more or less dusted him. Then he got on his dads 125 and we ran, i beat him low and mid, he slowy reeled me in top-end, but i had enough of a lead to consider it a win. he never passed me, unless we raced for like a mile.

 

like i said this 85/660 race i saw was probably a good example of rider ability. this 85 has got to be one of the craziest bikes ever tho. i weigh about 250lbs and if i sit ON the gas tank it will still pull the front wheel in 3rd and probably 4th (to damn scared to try it) and when i say pull the wheel i mean it will flip over backwards if i do not let off. we are not really sure what is done to it but i know it is piped jetted bored to a 103.5cc v-force reeds i think and maybe an aftermarket carb. i would guess its runnin about 30hp maybe a little more. we checked the compression last friday and its somethin like 195lbs. ohh and also he went up one tooth on the front sproket to tame it a little....i still think its a scary machine. but yeah i bet a good rider on a stock 660 could beat him there just werent any good riders there that day. he leaves my 400 then again its only a 400. i am not the best rider but i can push the 400 to its limits in a straight line. sorry about the long post...seems like all my posts turn into short books [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

 

and one other thing i murder him on take off. after 1st gear i ususally have atleast 4 quad lengths on him. then he starts catchin me and after 3rd hes either passing me or long gone depending on how his start was.

 

ya dood i agree then 85 i got to rides seem so fast even tho here little i cant imagine the 1 that u rode a souped up and stuff.
