Their very good in the dunes, not really a trail quad but it will get the job done in the trails. Quick and powerful bike, in my experience riding Banshees they dont have much bottom end, but once you get it in the powerband they scream. The midrange on a banshee is awesome, as is the top end. They are reliable for the most part. They require a little bit more maintence beacuse its a 2-stroke twin. If your looking for a trail quad i would take a look at either the Z400, Pred,660R, or the new 700R.

weather a bansh is any good on trails depends on how u like to ride on trails and if your scared of it or not. My shee done me perfect on the trails but we ride fast and i was in the powerband all the time. Best thing to do with a shee on the trial is just keep'er hammered and be ready to go for a ride lol.

I find it hard to keep a banshee on it's rhythim on trails, you will probaly do alot of down shifting. Since it's a two stroke the powerband hits at high RPM's, compared to a 4-stroke that has a powerband all along the RPM's. Your choice, still a nice realiable bike.

If you like adrenaline rushes and can handle them then get the shee, if not you can drop down to a 4 stroke. If you get a shee just make sure your capable of picking it up to turn it around. There are very relyable, just use good oil and mix it right.
Not everyone can handle a shee, thats why they came out with the raptor.
