Picked up my white raptor yesterday and thought Id share some thoughts of my first couple hours taking it "easy" on my raptor.
1) turn the key and the dash lights light up then I hear that EFI kick on..... Report: Awesome.
2) turn key over and engine fires right up. Report: Awesome.
3) Acceleration . Report: Awesome.
4) Comfort from handelbars to seat and gas tank ergonomics. Report:Awesome.
5) Handling on Dusty trails .Report: Awesome. (Rear end is light. Front end stays down. and this thing is not top heavy at all)
6)Sand Dunes. Report: Awesome........well actually I havnt taken it there yet but am chompin at the bit..It will be very, very, very cool in the sand.
7) Durability. Report: Awesome....2 whole hours and it hasnt broken yet.. who says dont buy a first year quad
8)purchase price. Report: Awesome....The Grin on my face as I ride this machine is worth every peso I spent.
Yamaha did right on this quad...
