ok heres my question this guy i know has a 1992 black and purple yamaha blaster that has a fmf fatty pipe,fmf power core 2 scilencer,hole shot front tires and maxxis razers back tires.
i have seen the bike and it looks really nice,but havent got to here it running or ride it yet.
he says it runs real good and i trust him, he wants 2000 bucks for it is that a good price for it,and the only reason he is sellin it is because he needs the money to work on his truck.
what do you think good deal or not?
he says it will blow away a stock 300ex.
and if i get it i will be adding a fmf rad valve
to make it a better trail bike and get some paddles for it when i take it to the dunes.

 

Personally, me....I wouldnt pay more than 1500 for it. Look around in the classified adds on this site and a t v s o u r c e.com site, look for all the blasters, check year models and what they have and see what they run for. You can also go to cycletrader.com and check out some prices there as well. 2k sounds a little steep for a 92 blaster with only tires and pipes on it.

Now thats a good one, had to redo the a t v s o u r c e.com site, if you put it regular it filters it out, lol.

 

thats too expensive you can get at least a 97 for that much with that much stuff on it

 

I bought my '95 for $1,700 and had a lot of modificatons and was real nice. Its too much.

 

most blasters are around the same price so u can get 90s from 1300 to 2300, what im saying is newer ones will be the same price as older ones. so go for a newer one.
