Sorry for the MX BS response. But Cannondale is one of the best MX quads out there out of the box and it has had EFI for years. The new EFI is even better than that on the C-dales as it is a learning kind where the C-dale I believe was a static program. So why didnt Yamaha bring out EFI, because they needed to keep another huge upgrade on tap for next year. Im not going to hold my breath for reverse. But I could see them making the 350 more of sport quad liquid cooled and a bit faster but keep reverse.

 

stupid question but is a carb manditory for AMA racing??? ive never seen a c-dale at the mx tracks around here so i just figured thats why.

 

rumor has it that the yfz450 will be all new from the ground up for 2007

 

You guys just dont trust EFI, I mean dales have multiple problems, which i corrected with the help of ATK, not a 440 anymore guys ;-).
But remember if you have a race and your jetting is all out of whack your screwed, i just plug in the laptop and run a new fuel curve.

 

They'll probably pattern it after the Zuki 450, lower and wider with alot more goodies and a heftier pricetag.
