i just got an 01 raptor today and not it runs like crap the carbs blow right off of the boots, does anyone know y?? please help! thanx

 

ummmm.........ive heard of carb problems with the 01's, ive never had any with mine, But i have rejeted it before.

 

Do This.
Put the carbs into the boots attached to the head first.
Tighten the clamps.
Now put the boots from the airbox onto the carbs.
You may notice that they dont seem to go all the way on.
Loosen the bolts to the air box and slide it as far foward as you can with the boots on the carb.
Tighten the clamps.
Tighten the air box.

I did this to mine and never had it happen again.
