True but their not hard to get the hang of, start off slow. I think a Banshee takes more of an effort to ride than a Raptor, its not a quad thats non-user friendly.

Ive been riding for 4 years, i ride about 3 days a week. But out of all the quads ive ridden in the past the raptor is an easy quad to ride, except for the unexpected wheelies that a beginner may pull at times.

But folks keep in mind the experience of the rider, this kid probably cant ride for sh*t, doesn't know how to jump...i'll even bet that he never hit a jump over 2 feet tall. He probably doesn't even ride the trails, i bet he's one of those people who say... and I quote "If I had a quad i would ride it every single day" and his quad probably sits in his garage 90% of the time. You people are thinking Z400's, 400ex's, Raptor's for this kid... No...No...No... more like a 250ex or a Trailblazer cuz I bet the kid can't shift to well neither so they are the perfect bikes for him. And about how much you should ask, I'll say about $2,600 cuz u probably bought it for around $2,900 and if so you got ripped off. Ok so i think this is enough said. Alllllllrighty then...Hope you appreciate my input Warriorboy22.

A few of my friends who have only ridden a quad or a dirtbike in the past before can do ok on mine, no stalling or anything. Depends on this kids experience i guess

Raptor660she350,

The reference to two 3rd gears is that is a pic of the two halves of the 3rd gear taken out of my tranny that required a rebuild. I must have been one of the unlucky ones with an 02 Raptor that the tranny went south on. Haven't heard of many with that problem.
