engine choke

when in water up to the bottom of my seat whatall could water get into to choke my motor.
It wasnt in the breather because it was dry but it still choked out on me.

Are you sure it was water getting into the carb? Or could it have been the water shorting out something electrical...like the spark plug?
Was there water in the air box?
