to my knowledge most of the new chrystler engines are made exclusivly by mitusbishi. the guy at the dealer said this. i think its the mini vans and some of the smaller cars. just thought id throw that in the mix

Yikes this thread got kinda ugly.

For me i like both American Muscle and Rice.

I do love the sound of the big V8's and the power they make but some of the rice out there will really hold it's own too.

For instance the WRX STI i think it's called makes 300HP stock. that thing will give most stock V8's a good run for it's money.

Everyone's talking about like the Cobra's and what not. Well if you're talking expensive line that up with a built Skyline or a Supra TT and see how you fare.

I know i don't have any hate for ether and enjoy both. My girlfriend has a really nice mustang that i enjoy driving.
and i have a built 99 Eclpise thats making about 400HP on 25lb of boost.

I've got love for them all.

 

how many quads are japanese designed? are those ricers as well?

 

Yup Sti's are really really fast. They are also upswards of 32 Grand,around the same as a Cobra.
