legal - all depends on where you ride.
some parks require spark arrestor and decible levels.
if you are just riding in fields or "non atv park" areas, you are most likely already trespassing, so who cares!

Yeah, it goes back in easier than it comes out. You might want to think about possibly rejetting too. Just a thought

what the hell?My friend has a 2004 raptor 350 and he tried to take the end cap off and when he got it off there was nothing there.It was just for looks.There was no bolt or anything under the end cap!I dont know what year you have but i dont understand why it didnt work for him....

well, i thought that u want SOME back pressure, so how does taking out all the things that make back pressure out, gain power? When u take out the spark arrestor, cut some of the end off, just so it flows better, and it sounds a little better.
