Went and filled up at the local Sam's Club (Goodyear at Dysart and Van Buren for you locals) and the price there was still $2.77 for 87 octane. Across the street at the QT it was 3.19. It appears to me that Sam's didn't raise their prices on what they still had in stock where everyone else did. Sam's Club and Wal-mart get bashed allot for their practices, but I think they did (and are doing) the right thing here.

I hope they have HUGE underground storage tanks there...

About 4 or 5 deep at all 8 pumps, but it actually moved pretty quick. Definately worth the wait. They did cap me at $75 also. I've hears some stations are doing that now.

 

When all of the car-makers started giving the employee purchase, I came soooooooo close to buying a new truck. I am glad I didn't now. I'll drive my beat-up truck 'till the wheels fall off!
