THIS IS IN TN they say another 25 cents tomorrow .the countrys gone gas mad!!!! i filled up at 11.00 today gas 2.65 for reg and half the pumps were already closed for empty tanks. got off work tonight and same station 3.25 for reg and they say they are now out.what pisses me off is how they jump the price like that in 12hrs and they were still selling same gas from same shipment . that should just be illegal its nothing less than robbery!! other stations in the area are almost $4.00!!!! that have gas

 

here in AK we are just about to hit the $3.00 mark... =S sorry to here your nasty prices...ours is suppose to jump up to like $3.50 for reg by this weekend....gotta fill up tomorrow....good thing my ZX2 gets 30MPG =D

This is per litre are you talking Gallons? The conversion is 1 gallon = 3.785412 litres. That means the 1 Gallon of PREM would cost $5.12 in Australia. The conversion rate between USD and AUD is about .76 so it would cost you $3.89 in USD. I guess US and Australia are fairly close.

 

jumper 60 cents here to $2.99 !!!!!! $10 ONLY gave me a 1/2 tank today in our FRIGGIN GEO METRO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (last year I filled up the entire tank for $9)

 

3.199 per gallon x 32 gallons = 102.368 dollars per tank. Approx 450 gallons per tank = 14 mpg. 14mpg / 3.199 per gallon = 22 cents per mile.

So it costs me about a quarter every mile...

 

Just saw this this morning, they are putting caps on gasline fill ups and some stations acrossed the country are only recieving 10% of their normal shipments. In Jackson Michigan a manager told us that we should top off our tanks now because they dont know when they'll be getting another fuel shipment. I'm not sure how much of this is actually true or going to happen, but its something to think about. I'm taking things with a grain of salt right now.

 

I was watching Fox news last night and I would like to shake the guys hand. He was telling it like it was. He said the gas companies and opec is blowing up the price because they want to and they should be ashamed to take advantage of people.

 

Not to sound like an a$$ but you americans should quit your whining, to put things in perspective for you, at about 3$ a gallon it works out to roughly 94 cents per cdn litre with the exchange (about 79 cents per american litre), now most of us canadians are paying at least 109.9 per litre, most pay more than that.

 

Gotta pay for your "free" health care somehow.

 

We are paying a $1.30 per litre today in New Brunswick Canada. converted it would be about $4.91 per gallon. I'm just loading up the motor home for the weekend it gets 9 miles to the gallon. Just !@%&%$# lovely
