Not to start up anything but i've raced one predator both of us stock, about 10 times and never lost to it once. it was in the sand.

 

rappy is faster im tellin u i have freinds with these quads there all fast but the rappy is faster

 

I'm leaning towards the rap on a longer race and the 450 on the shorter one. Just a guess though taken from the 660 is faster than the 450 stock

 

The 660 is not faster than the 450 stock. The 660 does have a hair bit higher top speed but in a drag stock for stock the yfz450 will destroy a raptor untill they top out in high gear.

The surface we dragged the pred and raptor on was a dry lake bed. And as i mentioned the predator has the air box and intake removed and just has a clamp on filter. If both werer totally stock i have to guess that it would be a close run , but all i know is no matter how we started or with who riding the predator easily outran the raptor every time.

 

If you buy a quad based solely on what it beats, you will be happy until the first time you get your fanny whupped by someone who can ride. I love my Raptor because it suits me. You have already ridden a Raptor so, go take a Predator for a ride. There has to be someone near that would let you put around on it for a few. Good luck.

I've never seen a Predator come any where near a Raptor in a straight line, as far as the Rappy vs. 450, its all about rider and terrain.
