Default Builing an MX bike

I want to race next summer but don't got the $$$ for a new yfz or 450r.Id like to find an old 250r that was beat to hell and rebuild it and cuztomize to suit me but find a 250r is hard, find a beat to hell one probly isn't eather. I was also thinking of a blaster, sure laugh but their light and can find good ones for nothing and beat ones for even less. Their light and parts are easy to find and lots of parts from other bikes are interchangable. So is a blaster worth modifing to make it race ready to race against 400exs or should I look elsewhere and what for? Since its my first time racing it will be beginner and the bikes in begginer I seen are 400ex with a few mods, blasters stock used to race, and even a lt250r

save your money on the blaster....and either mod your warrior, or buy a use 400, you can find them for cheap and things are plentiful for them.

The warrior kinda blows jumping. Its too front end heavy. 400 if I saved Id probly only have a piped/filter/jetted 400 but blasters you can get with those mods like that for $1000 canadain
