Grizzly 660 Vs Raptor 660
My son has an 03- 660 raptor and it is a blast, but I have a chance to get an 03' 660 Grizzly for a decent price and other than the 600 lbs Vs 398 ( both raptor and warrior weight) I am curious how it compares for a trail riding bike, compared to the other option which is an 87 Warrior. Anyone have or ridden both and can tell me if the warrior is as fast as the Grizzley on a straight run? I realize these were built for a different application, just curious how the 660 grizzly compares to a warrior type bike for performance.
I won't be doing much jumping, but may do some hillclimbing/ cross counrty trail riding. And corners will be 20 to 30 mph, nothing extreme that would necessitate a sport bile only, from my limited expereince
Thanks

Grizzly 660 Vs Raptor 660
Well, a griz will easily out accelerate a warrion/raptor 350. But as far as running with a raptor 660 on an open trail forget about it. For what your wanting to do i would look into a prarie 650 or 700. Alot sportier if you ask me. No irs no body roll. Plus they are both faster than the grizzes. But the grizz is a fine machine also.

Grizzly 660 Vs Raptor 660
Thanks.
Sort of a goofy question, but I had to ask. I suspect the weight of the Grizzly is the deterrent. The long travel suspension the Grizzly has makes me think it may be sportier than an old straight axle quad that I have ridden before.
I guess I need to look for another Raptor 660 so the boy and I can ride together.
Thanks for your input.
