Wow, now that’s funny. I guess it takes all types. By the way, it the crank knocks feel free to use 80W gear oil to get some relief.

seriously the last drop is not worth it. i always just have a case of cheap nasty 30 weight oil laying in the petrol shed and i i just pour about half a quart of that cheap 50 cent a quart oil in and that flushes the bad oil out. or at least it makes me feel better lol but yeah i would never run and engine without oil in it even for just a split second

What a moronic idea.

Who told/ taught you how to drain an engine, the mechanic who will be replacing parts on your seized engine?...LOFL

Yea, keep on draining your engine with it running.... it's in ALL the manuals...

Just in case someone ELSE doesn't know any better, your method is a SURE way to seize bearings, wreck an oil pump, and severly reduce the life of an engine. It is NOT important to remove every last drop of oil from an engine.

Carry on, nimrods
Thats not the nicest way to say it but it is a bad idea to turn on the engine without oil. I would just let it sit overnight. But I'm curious how long have you been doing it?

i have to say..... running ANYTHING that needs oil in it without oil is just about the stupidest thing i have ever heard. the oil is needed there for a reason.... that means u NEED it. i suggest u dont run ur quad without oil in it unless u go through quads like lil jon goes through pimp cups. (haha, i kno that was corny, but hey! at least i compared it to sumthing, lol)

p.s. dont buy a quad from this guy, haha

Hey 2 year old with potty mouth.lol

I never attacked you, maybe you need to learn how to read.

I asked who was the moron who told you to do that.

Learn how to read young man. It will keep you from getting a busted mouth.

Maybe rather than spend so much time attacking everone here you should go to your local dealer and ask for their help, if you don't have an adult who knows better than to do what you suggested.

And after your reply, I tend to believe those who think you are a moron are correct.
