are riding pants really worth it. i mean i have my work pants that are carhhart double knees and they are pretty tuff are are the whats so good about riding pants. id rather spent the money on my chest protector but my dad who used to ride dirt bikes says i should get some. please help me

 

It depends really, I love my riding pants because if I'm hot i can Zip off the bottom half to shorts. And they have some extra padding near the hips to help soften the landing if you fall. Get the chest protector then if you even have money to spare get some riding pants.
