Default gRIZZLY STATOR OUTPUT RATING?

Does anyone know the stock rated output of a 04 Grizzly 660?
I am looking to upgrade my lighting by adding 2 PIAA 55w halogens,
anyone here have any recommendations?

Thanks,
Dirtdoggy

Well if everything is working great, you can expect close to 14 volts at a max of 21 amps at 5000 rpm. This works out to 294 watts, at the most, at 5000 rpm. The output will be much less at idle, because stators rely on rpms to get the most out of them.
The two 55 watt lights should be doable, provided you dont do alot of idleing or low rpm operation, with them on, which would run down the battery.
I bought a couple of hella ff50 driving lights, and they are 55 watt lights too, and man...they really wake up the night! It was 35 bucks for the two, and its one of the best mods ive done.
Go for it.
