I was wondering how hard it is to install a cam whats the steps what all do i have to remove i want to install a hotcam i have rebuilt atv motor's but have never touched the cam before.And is the hot cam worth installing?

It's easy to install.
Remove plastic, tank and valve cover. Take out old cam, replace desompresion system, line up marks, put back in. Replace valve cover. Adjust rockers. Put tank and plastic back on.
The only thing that people screw up is:
1. Intalling the decompresion system 180 out.
2. Installing the chain tensioner wrong which breaks the chain.
If you do a stage 2 cam, you have to change the valve springs. This will require removal of the head.
If you do a stage 1, you don't have to change the springs.
Stage 1 will give a noticable mid range power increase.
By the way, I have a stage 1 Hot Cam used for one year in mint condition that I am going to put on Ebay.
