The banshee has a very stable feel at high speed and while cornering. In soft dirt or sand even a 400ex will spin the tires.
Thank you. This kid acts like he's ridden a banshee or something.Think before you act, webster.

according to atv rider the shee came in 4th in the dunes and the raptor came in 1st and in the same article they also say that the takes corners better in the sand on the track and in the wood.

Isn't that the same magazine that named the polaris predator atv of the year????????? This is a direct quote from may 2004 dirt wheels dune shoot out banshee vs raptor vs yfz450 [ We found that the "old school" yamaha banshee was still the machine to be reckoned with in the dunes, even against its newest high tech competitors.] Here's another quote from that shoot out [ turning and handling wise, all three quads have distinct differences. The yfz and banshee like to be ridden hard, with the throttle kept at or near the wide open position. The banshee and yfz are low slung and turn and corner extremely well. The higher center of gravity on the raptor makes it more top heavy than the other two.] And yet one more quote [ The banshee with its magnificent power and razor sharp handling manners is still the top choice for serious dune riders.] To be fair dw said all 3 were good dune machines.

Well if they think the predator is atv of the year, maybe their judgement is faulty in other areas aswell.

Hahahahahahaha. You have to be kidding, with all the preddy problems- the cracked and/or broken frames, sticking brakes, ball joint faliures and the wreck that happens when they fail {hate to be going 70 when one fails}, notchy shifting, tranny faliures worse than a 660r, easily cracked fender plastics, gas tanks breaking where the cap threads meets the tank, uncomfortable seat because of a poorly designed air box, and poor dealer support. Yep, I almost bought one. All the above problems made me think twice. Don't believe me? Go to predatorowner.com and read for yourself. I don't see where its better than a shee. Not even close.

Just the good ones. LOL I don't know, seems to me that if you fork over $6500 for a preddy, you should get something that doesn't brake frames, doesn't blow up trannys, doesnt drop ball joints {this is deadly serious}, on and on and on. I like the preddy, but polaris needs to make it tougher.

Well by definition I would expect new quads to be better than old ones...
