Hey the shee was made for 20 years. How long did yamaha make the 660r? So yamaha stoped making the banshee. Big deal. I've got mine, and will still be slinging sand 20 years from now on it, and probily smoking the new 2025 models.

Just the good ones. LOL I don't know, seems to me that if you fork over $6500 for a preddy, you should get something that doesn't brake frames, doesn't blow up trannys, doesnt drop ball joints {this is deadly serious}, on and on and on. I like the preddy, but polaris needs to make it tougher.
If you want a good judge of the reliability of the different manufactures, go to the link above entitled Today's New Topics and scroll through there and see how many postings are about problems with the various manufacturers quads. I think you'll see lots of problems, and most of them are NOT with Predators.

Webopper. On predator owners.com there is countless topics on preddy ball joint faliures after 6month to a year of use, and the wrecks that follow. No sign of wear, no slop in the joint. Just riding one minute, and then snap. This is very serious problem. A faliure at 45 mph means death....or worse, life as a veggy. That alone made me reconsider a preddy purchase.

Thats no suprise considering there are 20 years of used banshees to choose from. Has any other atv been made as long as banshee. If yamaha kept making them, they would keep selling them.

Maybe you've never rode a mean banshee. On pavement my 87 would eat your raptor for breakfast.
