I was just there yesterday and it was heaven. Rained all night and the sand was perfect.

This is an American past time that should not be fooled with.

We have to stay out of all the closed areas or they will close all of it. If you see the weed water it.

I personally ride a Banshee but I can tell you that the Scrambler is a ball in the dunes. Two people that I ride with run the Scrambler and they really enjoy them. Very agile and above average power. The reason that I prefer the Banshee is because it is a very fast, simply designed quad. All of the mechanisms are readily accessable and easy to repair in the field. If you break a Banshee, your weekend probably won't be ruined. They are very easy to fix. Relative to the Banshee the Scrambler is a complex machine and would be more difficult to repair in the field. But with a good system of preventative maintenance, field repairs probably wouldn't be an issue. I do rate them high and wouldn't have a problem with owning one.

Mster the only area of Buttercup that was effected is the area near the old plank road and north of it towards the 78 so really there isn't much effected at buttercup. They can't mess with the dunes that are in the Mexico side anyway since it's not the Greenie's land to rule over anyway. I think I'm going to find some of the green party people that live around me and peel out in their yards...
