Curtis Sparks Ignition Adv. on Raptor?
#1
I was wondering why many Raptor owners are getting this mod. What does it do? And does it make a noticable difference from stock? How much does it cost and where can you buy it? Sorry for the questions been riding quads long time but never put this kind of aftermarket part on before.

Hey Raptor420,
I don't have all the detail on this product, but you can find out by contacting Sparks Racing. The price is $15 according to what I've seen. I plan on checking up on this also for my Raptor. I think the web address is www.sparksracing.com
'92 MX ready Quadracer (for sale)
'01 Raptor - white/black (setting up for MX)

It is just an offset timing key that advances the engine timing a bit. I was E-mailed from a representative with Sparks Racing and it stated that the end result was that it mainly made the Raptor "snappier". Would it be enough of a gain to go through the trouble of having the key installed (since it will require a special puller from what I am told)? A dyno printoff would be very helpfull in determining this.
