Default YFZ?¿?

Im thinkin of sellin my warrior and gettin some extra money and buyin a YFZ 450... I ride almost everyday, and i drag race on the weekends. Nothing too serious, but definitely nothing for a rookie. I just want something with some more power. Is the YFZ worth the money?

YFZ is awesome for drags, but the Banshee can easily beat up a YFZ with less mods... If you dont have an issue with 2strokes then Banshee is definately a fun route for drags, On the other hand, I have had my YFZ for nearly a year now and I havent had one problem with it... changed the exhaust and intake and it really came alive, but ive heard with the "free Cam mod" and a upgraded ECM it will really up its potential... as for starting every time, Banshee's can be a bit of a problem child, they dont always want to wake up in the morning when you want to go ride, the YFZ on the other hand with the electric start has started every time for me, no problems, and I have to say it is probabily the quickest starting ATV ive ever seen... but from a warrior to a YFZ you will definately feel a huge power gain but the same is true with a banshee... Its all personal choice but I have to admit, after ditching my old shee for my YFZ I do kick my self every time I ride, nothing quite like hitting that awesome powerband and revving to the moon... then again I definately dont miss kicking my leg off on a cold morning to get it running...

If you are not going to modify the motor there is no better drag bike than the YFZ450. With bolt on mods nothing is close, including the shee's.

You think a Blaster sucks to kick-start? A couple of my friends have Honda TRX450Rs. Now those things suck to kick-start and it takes at least 5 kicks to get them started. Kicking-over a 200cc 2-stroke is NOTHING compared to kicking-over a 450cc 4-stroke. Good thing Honda gives you the hot-start button!

No thanks.
Try pulling over a Polaris Scrambler 500.

Woe it's going to be a big difference going from a warrior to a yfz450....
If you can afford it, I say go for it! It will put a really big smile on your face
