Well I can not only tell you first hand on which one is faster between the DS and the 660R I can SHOW you! I no longer have my DS but look at my pics page and you will see that I had a DS and my Bro had a Craptor. We both pretty much went mod for mod. He would get a pipe, I would get a pipe, ect. He weighs 50lbs less than me and he NEVER beat me. Nor did anyone else on his Rappy.

A member on here said BS to this statment. He claimed he had NEVER been beat by a DS. We had exactly the same mods. After much mouthin back and forth, we decided to put em on the line and end the talk. ALOT of the long timers on here will remember when this went on and can atest to the severity of it all. They can attest to how well both the machines ran and they were tuned SPOT ON. AT one time we had $500.00 on the line and I backed out do to not having the money to pay if I was to lose. So we settled on a steak dinner bet. The reason I show you this is because the machines you could pick up for the the money your looking to spend would be like these. Listen to what Duneme posted, he is spot on and one streight up guy. He even owned a Rappy, may even still own one, not sure, but he speaks the honest truth to your questions.

As for Mr. Mouth on this thread, yes you know who you are.....YOU KNOW ABSOLUTLY NOTHING!!! I have never in my life seen such a moron. You need to get your facts streight. The Raptor is even with the DS until third gear then its all DS. I think the Raptor responds a little bit better to mods beacuse the stock exhaust and intake sucks big time. Stock for stock the DS is a little faster mid range and top end.
