what tires to get
Just as a note this thread will probably get more positive replies if you post it in the tires/suspension area.
Beartrackers are good thick tires, but they are extremly heavy. I had a beartracker a few years back with sur-traks, and a buddy had a recon with bearclaws. We used to drag race all the time (he was always about one bike length in front of me) after we both got new tires, he was one bike length behind me. Nothing else was changed. If you go to each tires website, you can usually find the tires weight. We just looked up a 22 inch bearclaw, and it was 25 lbs, this compared to the 17 that the sur-traks are.
