Default Air scoops (blaster)

How much do air scoops actually help cooling, and has anyone on here ran them ever?

i personally dont have them, but i would think that any amount of extra air on the motor is a great thing. iam rebuilding my blaster this winter and that is one of the extras iam placing on it.

I have them on my sons 03 blaster. I also have them on my Bombardier DS 650 that is water cooled. I did notice after installing the scoops on my DS my electric fan did not come on as often so they must help. Later,D

Air scoops on a Blaster usually directs air right over the pipe and onto the cylinder from one side or the other, depending on your type of pipe. So you get more air, but it's preheated. I'd like to see someone test this to see if they make any difference.

You are correct the left side does blow right into the exhaust pipe. But even without the scoops on it does the same thing. They look cool anyway.
