Good choice. The easiest the way to adjust the shocks is to buy the spanner wrench that the dealership uses. Or you can use a rag and a monkey wrench. Not the best way but it works.

Ya I made my front shocks one stiffer from stock settings. I left the rear shocks at stock settings. Figured it would compensate for the winch and plow weight on the front. Seems like a great combination. No sure if the best but I have no problems.

I have the American Eagle 60" plow. Definately get the 60" and use the winch. WAY faster than manual. Of course I don't need the winch to pull myself through the snow, I have a polaris not a griz. LOL. just hit'n back.

lol,,,i guess that carried over from all of the smack talk me,and my Polaris buddies toss around,,,,nice come back though, lol

i still cant see where you think the winch is faster than the manual, have you ever used the manual? its way faster than the winch, and you dont have to worrie about the line compacting with snow, and ice

Thats funny, my buddy just bought a polaris, it was him buying that got me in the mood for a wheeler. I would have bought a Polaris if they would have had another one in stock. I am glad now that they didnt. I like the Grizzly more for my needs.

It's nice to be able to talk a little smack without pi$$ing people off, that's cool. Yes I have used the manual system but, definately prefer the winch. Maybe it is a lot more harsh where you are at, I don't know. I just know that the winch system picks the plow up very quickly and leaves both my hands on the bars. My winch control is thumb controled with my left hand. Do you have the kind that is controled with the fender mount maybe? Anyway you must be a brave man anyway.......being the trader black sheep in your posse. LOL.

I just picked up a 2005 Brute Force 650 that came with a 60" Cycle Country plow. I tried it out for the first time yesterday (well, not with actual snow) and I can tell already that I am going to need stiffer front springs. Also, I have a gravel driveway. I'm going to have to use the plow about an inch from the ground. Anybody else have to do that? How's it work?

my winch controller is on the handlebars,i did mount it towards the center, lower, and horizontal (switch is still upright, bracket is horizontal)because our trails grow over pretty fast here, and it wouldnt last very long before a tree branch broke it off if i put it up near the grips

my winch isnt fast when realling in,or out,and the cable does pack with snow and ice when i used it for the plow, the manual is faster for me,,,,,just goes to show ya,,,what works for one,may not work for others

it actually live'nd things up when i rolled in on the Grizz,it actually made it alot more fun riding, because the smack never run's out,,,we all respect others bikes for one thing or anouther, iand it is just in fun,,,but for some reason it is a Polaris dominent area here,,,i know of only 2 other Grizz's that ride on our trails from time to time, and their from Virginia,so they don't make it up very often

Ya it sucks plowing a gravel driveway. I usually set the skids a little higher and it helps but you will still end up plowing some gravel unless you leave a nice layer of snow on top. Every summer I have a choir of raking up all the gravel in my grass
