No, mikuni jets, and dynojets flow rates are different. Example: 190 dynojet main jet flows the same as a 175 mikuni main jet. The fmf kit is made by dynojet.

Are you sure thats not the other way around? cuz when I got my raptor back from getting it jetted, the guy gave me the rest of the jets and the dyno jet package which was a stage 2 and all the jets were like under 150 which is around the stock #'s for the mikuni's, so why re-jet lower?

The dynojets flow more at the same number, meanging that a 175 mikuni would flow less than a 175 dynojet.

Sorry fellas, go to ds650 {dot} net. Go to the mikuni vs dyno jet section. There is a great chart there that compares sizes. When I was jetting my ds, it required a 175 mikuni main jet, or a 190 dynojet main jet. These 2 jets flow exactly the same.

Have you ever used dynojets? If you have then you'd realize that a dynojet flows more at the same number than a mikuni. Every chart that I've ever seen on the intertnet is wrong. Includling the one you speak of at the ds650 site.

Gosh I really get annoyed with the bull$hit forbidden words in this place.

Well, dealerships are out to make money, not hire the best tuners/mechanics. The guy doing the jetting probily doesn't know about the difference between dj and mikuni. I had to learn the hard way. My ds came stock with a 165 mikuni mj. I was told to rejet to a 175. I used a dj 175 jet. It ran worse. After a long search, I found out about the difference. I did need a 175mj, a mikuni 175 mj. All I had was a dj kit. I used the chart on ds650 [dot] net to find out that a dj 190 mj is the same jet as a 175 mikuni mj. I dont know what your raptor takes, but take a look at that chart.

Dyno jets are sized by the hole dia. 175 means 1.75mm hole. Mikuni jets are sized by how many cc of gas they flow per min.
