Default Another Hurricane?

well it looks like we are going to get hit this time in Texas. Galveston had to evacuate,and every one is coming to San Antonio. It floods bad down here and rita is going to be pretty dam close to my town,half of my town is out of gas. it should be a wild ride.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/img]

Default Another Hurricane?

You got Galveston, we got Houston. Been at work all day so don't know how the gas thing is going. I did fill up yesterday just to beat the price jump. Heard it's already gone up 15 cents today.

yea ill be lucky to gas up my truck,maybe the atv, might even gas up the seadoo lol....

id gas up the quad and the sea doo. its be pretty cool to be the only guy driving in flood water with a jet ski

Well on my news in ct they said that it went down to cat. 4, but i never been through a hurricane so you know more than me. Do you ever have to evacuate, or do you not get that many?

well further south of me i think they have to. but i have lived here for 20 yrs and have never seen anything this big get so close. but i have seen alot of flooding.

I grew up around Corpus Christi, 25yrs and experienced all the storms from 1955-1980, we evacuated a few times, but weathered out many of the storms. The eye of the storm is what you need to watch out for, storm passes, beautiful blue, calm sky and then bang, like a ton of bricks. Now I just have to deal with a few earthquakes, those are pretty scarey because there's no warning.
