What is it you want to do with your 700R.. ????
For me, I have no intention to or want to pull out the laptop and make specific mapping downloads.. I have the settings worked out so far as to what I want to do.. I have the 3 mods I talked about just above.. I will have a couple more runs on a friends dyno and I will , for the most part be dialed in for all the mods.. I will also know what settings I need for the times I will be taking the LRD pipe off and putting the stock pipe back on for some of my mountain trips, that require lower dbs... The TFI will be set for those two setups.. when I need them.. I have no use for the rest of the mapping capabilities of the PC... That is not to say you or someone else has that desire.. By all means get the PC if you need it.. For the most part, the way I saw it was, I got the dobech and the airfilter mods for the price of the PC... For me it works..

Thanks for all the inputs, I have the Phoenix Sparky in and ordered the GYTR filter, outerwears and adapter along with the PCIII yesterday, should be here within a week. I opted for the PC because of future mods I plan on for the engine, I like the idea of getting a peek at the power curve and other options that the PC offer, I know the TFI and PC basically have the same end result and it comes down to how much a person wants to spend.

I was wondering why some 700R owners were going with a slip on as opposed to a full system and you just made a good point, just pull off the LRD and replace with stock muffler for noise sensitive areas. I really like that idea, I wonder how much more hp you would get with an LRD full system as opposed to the slip on?

Hap, As of right now that is what I plan on doing with the stock pipe. I have thought about a quiet core for the LRD, but so far I havent seen one that would be simple to just remove the end cap and bolt on.. I have concidered the head pipe. but there will be some out later if I want to add it..

good luck on your setup..

How much more on the numbers for a full system vs a slip on.. well you can go to HMF's site and see what they say.. check out LRD's site also..
