I got an e-mail back from CT here is what it said.

Craig I am taking orders for my raptor pipe. I've finished the R&D work
and
have sent the pipe to production. Stock is 34 rear wheel H.P. My
complete
system is 44 Hp jetted with a vented air box lid. I also have shocks.
A.K.

Sounds pretty good to me.

I've heard CT pipes for the DS650 rust.

44 rear wheel horsepower? That's more than most pipes Banshees isn't it?

If there is a problem with rusting, it might be worth sending it out to Jet-Hot for a coating treatment.

Bash....I was looking at the pipe dyno chart at www.albaaction.com and it looks like a piped Banshee with a filter and modded airbox cranks out high 40's on the dyno. 10 horsepower is a huge gain on a 4-stroke exhaust.

That just goes to show the difference in dyno runs. http://www.vci.net/~bash/bansheepowercurve.jpg is a dyno chart BY FMF comparing their new Banshee pipes to the Toomeys. It doesn't even hit 40 hp and that is in line with other dyno runs I've saw on piped Banshees. The ones at Alba are quite high.

Either way, considering the throttle response and torque, the Raptor ought to be right up there with them or above when piped.

I have the chrome ct pipe. It never rusted, but my old silencer that wasnt chromed did. I bought a chrome silencer, because my old one got damaged in a race, when someone decided they couldnt stop and drove through my rear end in the first turn, and I destroyed it when I tried to repack it. The chrome silencer doesnt have any problems with rust. CT doesnt chrome thier whole silencers though. The main pipes and ends are chrome, but the silencer part is still alluminum, which doesnt have problems with rust anyways.

True...is seems that Dyno readings may not be very reliable when comparing info. from one too another. Which is why we see up to 4 hp difference in Raptor dyno readings. I'll bet one would have to wear ear muffs with the CT pipe on! Probably be worth it though.
