Lever Guards/Brush Deflectors for Banshee
#2
For a while I was using the metal "bark buster" with mier plastic shrouds on my banshee. I liked the idea for protection from the cold on my hands in the winter and of course trees, branches, etc. in the summer months.
I ended up taking them off. I had a minor flip over the handlebars when I caught a snow drift and almost tore my wrist off when my hand got caught in the guards. It was probably an isolated incident. But to be safe I can live without them.
They are red. And still in great shape. They mount quite quickly, but you have to cut the end off your grips to access the end of the handlebars. E- mail me if your interested. I'll let them go at a good price. If you want I will try to find a good picture of them installed.
If you are still using your stock front brake lever...you will need to take an inch or so off of the handle. Or the guards will not fit right.
