my friend has a 2000 yamaha blaster it will not start you can sit there and kick it all day the carb was professionally rebuilt and it kicks fine and if u try and pop start it if u get it fast enough it will kick over a little bit but it wont turn over now its getting spark its getting fuel and its gettin air what could do it

 

did you check compression?? if yes, what was it...?

 

i didnt check compression my self but he said it was good
the funny thing was when the carb was at the shop he kicked it and it ran for like a minute

He must of put gas in the spark plug hole or something???

 

I had the same problem only it was wit a dirt bike we cleaned out the carburatuer 3 times check the compression air in take and then we thought it was the spack plug and when we would push it down the road and try to jump start it it would only start for a few seconds and she woulden't rev so any ways we ajusted the hieght on the spak plug the little thing the curves over so it was about 3mm away and then it started up right away.¿
