doeswheel diameter matter if you buy the same size height and width tire? Does the diameter change anything?

What do you mean?

It changes the size of wheel you will be using
it also changes the sidewall of the tire
smaller rim on same size tire = more squishy and better traction
a bigger rim will = less sidewall roll and the back end will slide out easier

Its not a huge difference. there is also some weight differences. and strength differences.

ebay had a listing for rear 20x11x10 holeshots for a good price. I was orginally looking at 20x11x9 razar's. So I wanted to know the pro's and con's of going with a 10 inch rear wheel

On a 20" tire thats 5" sidewall on 10" wheels and 5.5 on 9".. on the 9" you will get a lil more sidwall buldge to protect your wheel. the 10" wheels are wider and more susceptable to damage.. it really doesnt make a massive performance differnce that i can tell?

I think your better off with smaller rims if you do a lot of trail riding. Less chance of screwing up a rim.
