homepage Bob Craycraft or Tim Barker???
Hello guys!
I´m looking for homepages where I can buy hardened or shoot peening rod connectings. I heard craycraft and barkers rods are better than carillo rods.
My rod is broken by 727cc engine. Now I need a better stronger rod.
Can you give me an advice or homepages where i can buy carillo or barker rods and maybe hardened crankshafts?
Thanks!

Bob's rods are Barker's.
www.barkersbars.com
But I would think if you can get a carillo in country it would be cheaper than having one shipped from the US. The carillo is pretty strong its only real drawback is its weight compared to stock. Check out those links scholle posted first.

In germany the carillo rod is very expensive. It costs 310 Euro = 375 $. In USA this is 100 $ cheaper. All spare parts for atvs are very expensive in germany.
In other topics of this forum guys wrote that the carillo rod is heavier than stock and so you have less hp. Is this right?
I think about to buy a titanium rod, it is harder and more easily than carillo or stock rod.
And what quality have the crankshafts and rods by "hot rods"?

the hot rods is a good set-up. masterraptor is running it on his craycraft 686. he likes it. Craycraft sells the barker rods, he doesnt manufactuer his own rods. the carillo is havier than the barkers and it will make your bike rev a little slower. the Titanium one is around $500. dont forget to get the crank balanced when you DO purchase a new rod and have it installed.

Do you mean with crank balanced "fine-heave"?
When the carillo rod is havier than Barkers rod and by this the rev is faster. The ti rod is 200g more easily than carillo rod. Also by this the rev is better than carillo and Barkers rod. Is that the only advantage???

Guten tag! Wie Gehts? Hope I got that right I'm not great at german, I know how you feel about the prices, most ATV parts in thr usa are cheaper,I always buy my atv parts in usa or england. England is a bit cheaper than Ireland you should check out some of the placese there, they might just be cheaper than germany.
