Big Bear 2wd pros/cons
#1
I currently have a 2000 Blaster which I have outgrown skillwise.A local atv shop is having a good deal on 2 wheel drive Big Bears and what I need to know are some pros and cons of this machine.Such as;are they a good trail machine?because most of the riding I do is trail riding.are they reliable?I don't want to constantly nagged with repairs. What is the aproximate top speed? I don't want some super slow turd mobile. And are they comfortable to ride?after a while the blaster is a little cramped.I am 5'11" and weigh around 200 pounds now I know compared to the blaster a Big Bear is a huge step up in size but are they comfortable, good ergonomics.Any info on this would be great and I'd like to thank those who post in advance.

Hello Spooge, I had a 98 Big Bear 2wd and it was a very good bike. I'm 6 feet tall and weigh 280lbs. and I could ride it all day long. I used to get 48 mph. out of it. Very good on trails and did surprisingly well on hill climbing. Also did good in water and some muding. We did a lot of creek riding in about 1 to 2 feet of water. This was a very good bike so with the new 400 big bears I can only think that they are better now. Go For It. Good Luck! Foots
