I have an 02 balster and it's have brake issues. The front brakes are shot I'm pretty sure. Are they hard to replace? I knwo the rear brakes are new and were very firm before. now they are not exsistant.... i loosend the screw out back by the caliper.. this made the pedal stiffer but the brakes still SUCK! i took off the 3 allen screws and it looked like a chinese puzzel....

Default 2002 Blaster Brake Help

The front brakes are not hard to replace at all take off the larg nut in the center of the wheel and then pull of the wheel and brake hub you will need to loosen the brakes before you can pull it off then the shoes themselves are very simple. Pull in the front brake lever and you will see how they work. I think new shoes are only like $20 or something like it you can get them at www.rockymountianatv.com if you have a manual it helps too. I dont know much about the rear brake but you probaly only need new shoes.
