Flipped the Grizzly
Well I was climbing a steep hill last night and I slid down into a deep wash out and flipped the Grizzly almost right on top of me. I was'nt hurt but I had to hold the quad up off me until my brother in law helped me push it up and off of me. Just another good reason not to ride alone. Looks like the only damage was some deep scratches on the outer right front fender and a busted ego. I also lost the drain cover from the front tranny vent some where and started going through some deep water and the belt started slipping some. I removed the cover from the transmission and let it dry out over night. Does this mean I should regrease the chutch now? The water that came out when I removed the cover was not muddy just looked like it had some belt dust in it. Thanks for any help and please stay safe!!!

Yes you should regrease the clutch. Sorry to hear you flipped the Grizz.
My son flipped one of my Grizzlys to. He could not hold it on the road while powersliding a turn at about 45 mph, and slowly drifted to the outside of the turn, off the road, and down into a big drainage ditch. He barrel rolled the Grizzly half a dozen times, so it was pretty trashed, but at least he wasn't hurt, and I didn't have to pay medical bills to go along with repair bills on the Grizz. Be careful out there.

I don't ride in Beacon to much. The tree huggers have bought up most of the moutian and now it is reserved for just a select few that think anything with an engine is evil. There is some riding in Maybrook and we travel to Mass. and Penn. where those states have relized that there are more things you can do on a trail than just watch birds.
